By working alongside engineers, designers, architects and technical staff who are experts in their field, we provide opportunities to help you discover your path through our summer internship program. Key Responsibilities • Assist in preparation of design, permit and construction drawings as directed by Project Manager • Ability to understand building elements and systems • Ability to manage time appropriately to ensure that tasks are completed timely, accurately and on budget. • Understanding of building design and general code requirements. • Possess strong analytical and creative thinking skills. • Demonstrate initiative in suggesting solutions to the design team. • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks to serve the design team. • Ability to work overtime as required. Education And Experience • Junior or senior student working towards their Associates and/or bachelor’s degree in Architectural Technology, Sustainable Design or related Architectural Degree program. • Technical hands-on experience with AutoCAD & Revit Software and Microsoft Office products. • Possible Day trip to a project site to assist with conduct an existing building survey. • Knowledge of utilizing measuring devices to obtain applicable data and dimensions • Strong planning, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
