The ideal candidate will be responsible for building out our sales and marketing strategy, sales forecasting reports, and sales pipeline. You will then monitor our sales performance with the goal of expanding our company's market share. Your collaborative nature and will help you succeed when coordinating with external distributors and internal sales and marketing teams.
Responsibilities
1. The Area Sales Manager is responsible for the particular region and division. He is to
look after Primary and Secondary sales, Product Promotion, Route planning, division
of geographical area, reports of subordinate staff, stock availability and stock
information at various levels, ensuring the smooth payment schedule from the entire
distribution channel from retailing end to the company.
2. The ASM is responsible for the recruitment of his subordinate staff i.e. Sales Officers/
Sales Representatives as per potential of the planned route. The ASM has to ensure
that each of his sales officers is meeting the number of parties as prescribed by the
company i.e., 5 visit per day. SR to visit 40 counters per day where minimum 16
counters to be productive as prescribed by the company.
3. The ASM is required to visit the parties made by sales team and discuss the company
details, products, project details, financial projections, projected turnover of party in our
product.
4. Ensure all the relevant reports of his subordinate staff to reach the H.O. well in time.
5. To follow-up and realize timely clearance of outstanding payment of SUPER STOCKIEST
to company.
6. To coordinate shipping schedules and delivery of merchandise and service.
7. To develop and maintain sales material and current product knowledge and schemes
and provide on the job training to new Sales Officers.
8. To develop and implement special sales activities prior to management approvals to
reduce the stock as and when it arises.
+. ASM is responsible for the complete neatness in running of the business
10. Business planning by ASM needs to be done on the basis of data and logic looking
at the opportunity of the area
11. Distributor appointment -Should only happen for the parties in the order as
mentioned-1 st -Masala,2 nd Food,3 rd -FMCG
12. ASM is completely responsible for the assigned territory business operations.
13. Any unethical practices if found to be reported will call for a immediate termination
from the services.
14. ASM needs to take all approvals from Head office for all sort of any additional initiatives in advance in writing.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Previous experience in technical sales
• Previous industry experience
