Designation: Area Sales Manager

Function: Sales & Marketing

Reporting to: Sales Head

Job Location: Ahmedabad

Experience: 3 to 7 Years

Field Experience: Water & Wastewater treatment industry/relevant industry

Role Objectives

Role Activities

1. Support the sales head and management

· To assist the Sales Head in devising, developing and designing various Marketing & Sales Strategies to reach the right potential clients.

· To extend all possible cooperation to the marketing person in organizing various marketing campaigns and events.

· Undertake any other assignments or projects as may be directed by the superiors from time to time.

2. Cross-functional coordination

· To coordinate with project sales, technical, service, purchase and finance teams to ensure the sales deals are effective and smoothly executed.

· To participate in various Tendering exercises and to ensure all necessary actions that leads to closure.

· To ensure smoother, faster and effective after-sales service / support for all clients.

3. Sales Team Management

· To induct, deploy, motivate and retain a strong sales team to support robust sales in respective areas.

· To review day to day meetings of the sales team and direct various actions.

· To monitor the performance of sales team and identify training needs.

4. Customer Relationship Management

· To initiate and manage excellent relationships with all clients and potential clients.

· Identify issues and take action to deal with client queries. Keep constant tap on market movements and report the same to sales head

· Share information and knowledge of new products or other developments etc. to clients

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

a) Qualifications

· Graduate / post-graduate in engineering (Mechanical/chemical/electrical/environmental)

b) Experience

· Minimum 8-10 years of experience in the core sales function of aproject-drivenn, medium-sized company.

c) Team handling

· Must have successfullyled/managedd a team of competent sales engineers.

Shift Time: Day Shift (6 Day working with 2nd & 4th Saturday as Half Day. Fixed Weekly off on Sunday
