Job Title: Teaching Assistant TutorSalary: £32,000 - £34,000 DOELocation: Bristol (Hybrid)
(Driver Essential for this role with access to own vehicle)
About the Role:
Plan, coordinate, mentor, and deliver training and assessments for apprentices in Teaching Assistant (Level 3) and Specialist Teaching Assistant (Level 5) programs. Share expertise from the schools sector to ensure apprentices excel and complete their programs on time.
Key Responsibilities:
Assessment:
Conduct skills reviews with apprentices and employers.
Develop and deliver tailored training plans.
Maintain candidate records and assess workplace skills and behaviors.
Deliver high-quality training using approved resources.
Provide tutorial support, including functional skills, safeguarding, British Values, and personal development.
Lead online classroom sessions for cohorts of apprentices.
Essential Requirements:
Relevant teaching L5 qualification (DTLLS, PGCE etc.) and 2+ years of experience as a teacher/TA.
Up-to-date industry knowledge and Level 2 Numeracy & Literacy.
Experience working with employers in training or customer relations.
Strong IT skills and ability to motivate learners.
Desirable Requirements:
Assessor/teaching qualification or relevant degree.
IV/IQA qualification and experience in schools or similar environments.
