We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join our team as an Assistant Accountant. In this role, you will work closely under the guidance of our current accountant to support the day-to-day operations of the department.
Responsibilities:
• Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Recording and processing financial transactions
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records
• Reconciling bank statements
• Assisting with the budget preparation and forecasting process
• Providing support for audits
• Helping to ensure compliance with accounting regulations and laws
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related field
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency with accounting software (such as Tally, Quickbooks, etc) and Microsoft Excel
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work well in a team environment
