Job Description
Title: Accounts Assistant cum Stores In-Charge
Education: B.Com or M.Com
Experience: 2-3 Years
Location: Shirur, Pune
Roles and Responsibilities
• Accounts Assistant Responsibilities
• Financial Transactions and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including entries in Tally and other accounting software.
• Account Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, vendor statements, and other financial records.
• Invoice and Payment Management: Assist with reconciling vendor statements, resolving payment or invoice issues, and ensuring timely payments.
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with internal controls and assist in preparing documents for audits.
• Audit Support: Prepare and organize necessary documentation for internal and external audits.
• Stores In-Charge Responsibilities
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, ensure stock availability, and manage stock levels at the Shirur site.
• Material Handling: Oversee receipt, storage, and issuance of materials to ensure proper documentation and tracking.
• Stock Auditing: Conduct regular stock audits and ensure physical inventory matches recorded data.
• Vendor Coordination: Talk with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any discrepancies.
• Store Compliance: Ensure that the storage area is organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards.
Skills and Qualifications
• Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com).
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the residential construction sector.
• Software Proficiency: Proficiency in accounting software like Tally and MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage inventory and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Attention to Detail: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for both financial and inventory management.
• Communication: Excellent communication and coordination skills to interact with vendors, site teams, and other stakeholders.
