About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing financial services firm as an Assistant Accountant. The role involves recording and reconciling financial transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, and preparing and issuing invoices.

Key Responsibilities:

Record daily financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements.
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Prepare and issue invoices.
Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate financial records.
Manage tax obligations, including GST, BAS, IAS, and payroll tax.
Maintain fixed asset registers.
Requirements:

Accounting degree qualified or part CA/CPA qualified.
Strong IT skills, including Excel and ERP system usage.
A high level of attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
