We are looking for an Accounting Assistant Manager for our internal Accounting to manage the month-end and annual close and consolidation process for our clients. The ideal candidate should have 3+ years solid experience in the finance and accounting process.
This role will be primarily responsible for managing our clients monthly accounting close and consolidation process such as journal entries, payroll and deductions, accounts payable/receivable, invoicing & recording revenue, reconciling bank, cash, balance sheet accounts, fixed assets/prepaid expenses, and preparation of financial reporting of P&L, BS, Cash Flows. This role will have the opportunity to create and drive standards across the business, to develop processes and procedures and to create efficiencies where possible as we look to scale the business in the U.S. and India.
Job Responsibilities
• Accounting Entries in Zoho Books including Sales, Expenses, Accruals & Prepaid Expenses in accordance with applicable Accounting Standards & IFRS.
• Preparation of Balance Sheet Reconciliation, P&L Variance Analysis, Drafting of Financial Statements as per applicable guidelines.
• TDS Calculation, Deposit, Filing Returns, and other tax related compliances.
• Periodic Income Tax Computations (Provisions), Deferred tax, Advance Tax Computations.
• Co-ordinating with Tax Auditors/Consultants for GST Returns Tax Audit Report, Transfer pricing Study, Income Tax Computation, ITR preparation and filing.
• GST Returns preparation, E-way Bill Preparation, filing, GST ITC Reconciliation, evaluating scope for GST compliance improvement for assigned GSTINs.
• All the Statutory Compliances including MCA & Labour Laws.
• Assisting in formulating policies/guidelines relating to internal financial control.
Requirements & Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in public accounting and/or private industry accounting/finance.
• Qualified CA
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and accounting systems, experience with Zoho is a plus.
• Strong background in FP&A is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities to set overall engagement expectations and direction.
• Effective analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to maintain and manage client relationships.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills and familiar with Google Cloud and various business software (e.g., ERP, CRM).
