We are excited to announce openings for motivated and detail-orientated Assistant Business Support Officers to join our Teaching and Learning Support (TLS) directorate within the Teaching, Learning and Student Wellbeing (TLSW) division.
Location: Parramatta with access to flexible working arrangements available
Salary: Clerk Grade 5/6 with base salary ranging from $+7,027 to $107,05+ per annum, plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
Ongoing and temporary full-time opportunities available

About Teaching & Learning Support directorate
The Teaching and Learning Support (TLS) directorate enables schools, teachers and the system to support all learners to effectively and equitably access and engage with the curriculum to reach their potential. TLS develops and delivers evidence-based professional learning, resources and advice to schools to enable the provision of an outstanding education for every learner.
About the role
This is a dynamic and impactful role, delivering a broad range of administrative and specialist support services that are central to the successful operation of the directorate. You’ll play a key part in supporting staffing functions, maintaining systems and processes, improving service delivery, and ensuring compliance with Departmental policies.

Key knowledge and experience:
Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements:
Hold a current and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment (or willing to acquire one)
Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education
