Candidate Profile and Job Responsibilities: -

· Coordinate, plan and direct life and career planning activities and experiences for students from Form 8 to 12.

· These activities should help students develop awareness of subject choices and possible careers to assist them in the development of their goals, plans and vision for the future.

· Provide orientation to the various levels of the education system and provide counseling on educational choices;

· Provide student success instructions on a variety of topics including study skills, stress and time management and communication skills.

· Structure and organize the Work Experience Program.

· Develop partnerships and collaborative relationships with individuals and agencies in the community and with Admissions Officers in universities. Follow procedures for accreditation with external agencies including College Board.

· Offer skills development workshops (such as resume writing, interview skills) and Career Planning Groups.

· Organize in-depth self-assessment workshops, including interest and personality testing.

· Give information on courses and programs available at university in India and outside, and the entry requirement of these.

· Give guidance in identifying appropriate universities to consider and the application procedures with a special focus (though not limited to) the UK, USA, Canada, Singapore and Australia.

· Guide students through application process, including advising on the creation of a positive application package.

· Guide teachers on reference writing for applications

· Organize College Counseling Fairs

· Take responsibility for the submission of all school documentation in support of university applications

· Maintain records

· Maintain, develop and suitably equip the College Counseling Resource room.

· Be available daily for personal appointments.

· Be the main contact point for Alumni students, arrange events, update website and circulate news.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹40,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
