The Strategic Finance and Procurement Branch is looking for a self-motivated, highly capable Assistant Director, to assist with the preparation of internal budgets, financial management and finance business partnering.
The successful applicant will have excellent communication, and technical accounting skills, be able to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders on a broad range of topics, work in a very busy environment and manage parts of the budget and financial reporting process. The successful applicant will be able to find solutions to complex issues and identify ways to improve existing processes.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting and membership or progression towards CPA/CA status is preferred. Working knowledge of the TM1 and Oracle is also highly desirable.

Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately for 12 months with the possibility of permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. Please note, this position will be moving to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
