Project: The client is coming up with a 30,000 s ft coworking office set up in Candor Techspace, Noida. The project is designed by leading architects MMoser and is required to be completed in two phases.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
• Reviewing designs, plans, supervising and managing on-site MEP works in coordination with other (interiors) disciplines of the projects.
• Maintaining documentation and reporting as per Mace standards for MEP-related disciplines.
• Supporting the project manager on the assignment of the refurbishment of hi-end interior finishing works.
• Being responsible for planning, supporting in procurement, quality and progress management and testing commissioning all MEP work on the assignment.
• Assisting in conducting fieldwork and at times taking the lead in this effort.
• Attending design meetings with the client and issue minutes when the project manager cannot attend or accompany the project manager to meetings.
• Organising and directing frequent in-house meetings under the direction of the project manager.
• Providing input to the project manager in regard to scheduling personnel. Working with the project manager in the preparation of detailed personnel loading by task interfaced with the detailed schedule.
• Assisting in the preparation of storyboards and detailed project timelines.
• Supporting in the organisation and maintenance of the design binder.
• Helping in the coordination of all the disciplines involved, including outside consultants.
• Assisting in the supervision and coordination of the submission of documents to appropriate reviewing authorities.
• Assisting in the coordination of the review responses and ensuring they are reflected in the drawings/specifications.
• Ensuring a safe work environment for all staff through effective and consistent training, management and enforcement of safe work practices.
• Arranging or attending pre-bid conferences when the project manager cannot attend or accompany the project manager. If required, issue the minutes, addenda, under the direction/supervision of the project manager.
• Assisting the project manager at bid openings and helping to prepare/issue certified bid tabulation.
About You
You will have a degree qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering and a member of a professional body. You have working knowledge on cost management - budgeting, review and variation management for MEP packages. You have experience in on-site delivery of MEP works for corporate fit-out projects.
You are digitally savvy can build lasting client relationships and provide support to strong, motivated teams. You will have experience delivering projects from start through to completion within a consultancy industry and be poised to expand your own horizons, those of our clients and of our ambitious people alike.
