Job Title: Assistant Manager - Finance & Accounts

Location: Powai, Mumbai

Department: Finance & Accounts

Reports to: Head of Finance

Compensation: 7-8 Lacs Per Annum

Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager - Finance & Accounts (Accounts Payable & Receivable) is responsible for managing the company's payables and receivables, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, collections, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
• Accounts Receivable:
• Timely Invoicing to customers
• Prepare and analyze MIS for Revenue
• Reconcile receivable balance
• Prepare Customer Ageing
• Follow-up with customer for collections
• Reconciliation of TDS credit with 26AS
• Prepare Revenue reconciliation with 26AS
• Accounts Payable:
• Receive, verify, and process all incoming invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Prepare payable ageing
• Process timely payments to vendors
• Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies, answer queries, and maintain positive working relationships.
• Perform regular reconciliation of accounts payable transactions, including vendor statements and payment records.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including preparing accruals, reconciling accounts, and generating reports as needed

Job Specification:
• Educational Background:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or CA (Inter Passed)
• Experience: 4-5 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a strong focus on accounts payable and receivable management.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in financial software and ERP systems
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge: Understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and other regulatory requirements relevant to accounts payable and receivable.
