About the company:-It is an Indian company that manufactures and sells innerwear, winterwear, and other hosiery products for men, women, and children.
Key Responsibilities:-
Payroll Management:
• Process end-to-end monthly payroll for employees, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
• Manage attendance, overtime, leave records, and other payroll-related data.
• Coordinate with the finance team for salary disbursements and generate reports.
• Handle payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues promptly.
• Ensure timely calculation and deductions for taxes, benefits, and other statutory contributions (e.g., Provident Fund, ESI, etc.).
Compliance and Statutory Reporting:
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal labor laws and tax regulations.
• Prepare and file mandatory statutory reports such as TDS, Provident Fund, ESI, Labor Welfare Fund, etc.
• Keep up-to-date with any changes in laws and regulations regarding employee compensation and statutory benefits.
• Ensure timely submission of compliance documents and reports to relevant authorities.
• Assist in audits related to payroll and compliance functions.
HR Support:
• Assist in managing employee benefits, including insurance, retirement plans, and any other employee welfare programs.
• Maintain accurate employee records related to payroll and statutory compliance.
• Provide support for employee queries regarding compensation, benefits, and payroll issues.
• Work closely with other departments to address and resolve HR-related compliance issues.
Reporting and Documentation:
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports for management review.
• Maintain confidential records and documentation related to payroll and employee benefits.
• Assist with preparing payroll-related documentation for audits.
• Knowledge/Skills:
• Strong understanding of labor laws, taxation, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Proficient in HRMS (Human Resource Management Software), payroll software, and MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
