Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mechanic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support our mechanics in various tasks related to the maintenance and repair of vehicles and machinery. This role is essential in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. The Mechanic Assistant will gain hands-on experience while working alongside skilled professionals in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
Assist mechanics in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues in vehicles and machinery.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
Help maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
Support the team in disassembling and reassembling parts as needed for repairs.
Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
Document work performed and report any additional issues to the lead mechanic.
Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of mechanical systems.
Skills
Basic understanding of automotive or mechanical systems is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively.
Willingness to learn new techniques and technologies related to mechanics.
Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects.

Pay: $18.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
