Assistant Product Manager to join our Lending Capabilities team within the International Card Services (ICS) Product organisation. This role will be responsible for contributing to the strategy, implementation, and growth of the revenue and profitability on our Consumer and Small Business Card portfolio through lending capabilities.
Reporting into the Manager, Lending Capabilities, you will specifically be a key contributor to the optimisation of acquisition and post acquisition Credit Line allocation through targeted strategic and tactical initiatives. This will be achieved through implementing innovative product management strategies and the development of new ‘best in class’ lending features to drive engagement and profitability across our Card portfolio.
Key Accountabilities
Lending Capability Management
Key contributor to the Lending Capability activities and work closely with key stakeholders to ensure the business goals are achieved.
Strategic development of margin enhancing initiatives – sizing opportunities, identifying what is required to implement, influencing and seeking the appropriate approvals, collaborating with key stakeholders both locally and internationally.
Digitisation of profitable card balance growth initiatives through developing strategies, delivering new capabilities, monitoring performance and collaborating with key stakeholders (e.g. Customer Marketing teams, International cross functional teams, Customer Service, Technology teams).
Manage key stakeholder communications including Partner WIP’s, Performance Dashboards and budget updates.
Partnering with local Analytics and Credit Card Product Management teams to identify opportunities to enhance the competitive advantages of our products.
Monitoring key drivers and trends through regular reporting and analyses.
Strong interpersonal skills to develop collaborative working relationships across Enterprise, and externally with our Airline Co-brand Partners.
Lead with an external lens with regular monitoring and insights of the competitor product landscape.
Support the Lending Capabilities team with additional priorities as required.
Run the Business Activities
Lead the day-to-day tasks and activities required to support the Lending Capabilities in your remit including queries, internal approvals (IMH), field enquires, audits, mitigate OREs and other technical requests.
Stakeholder Alignments
Build trusted relationships with internal business units to ensure alignment and delivery of key initiatives and projects, within budget and timeframes. This will include Customer Marketing, Acquisition Marketing, Product colleagues, Project Management Office, Tech, Sales and Account Development, Risk, Compliance, General Councils Office and Servicing teams.
Qualifications and Experience required:
To be successful in this position you will require:
Experience in Product Management, Marketing execution, Project Management or Analyst experience.
Demonstrated project management and execution skills including managing build, testing and go-to-market project milestones.
Demonstrated analytical skills to measure & monitor projects and performance.
Strong communication skills (written and oral).
Ability to meet deadlines with a proven track record of consistently delivering results.
Demonstrated growth mindset with a strong customer orientation.
Advanced excel experience.
