Design Educator - Assistant Professor – full time

Applications are invited to Ahmedabad Design Lab (ADL), Ahmedabad University, for candidates interested in the field of Design. We are particularly interested in candidates focusing on Design Thinking, Problem Solving, Creativity, Innovation, Management, and design expertise in Industrial Design or Visual Communication.
Candidates are expected to participate and contribute to all the activities of the Ahmedabad Design Lab. The candidate will prepare and teach a variety of coursework for Design enthusiastically and imaginatively in both practical and theoretical teachings. The goal is to facilitate learners in acquiring knowledge, skills and competencies effectively and appealingly.
Candidates at the Assistant Professor level must demonstrate the capability to carry out high-quality research and should have completed a Master's/PhD. However, those in the final stage of their PhD can also apply. Associate Professors should have a track record of research and teaching. Professors are additionally expected to provide academic leadership at the Center. Appointments will be based on the applicant's teaching expertise, research leadership, and industry practice.
