Roster: Sunday: 9:30-17:15, Monday: 8:30-17:45, Tuesday: 9:00-17:45, Wednesday: 9:00-17:45, Thursday: 9:00-17:00

The Outlet is Tahua Group’s exciting value-focused retail brand, delivering Big Brands. Bigger Deals. across Aotearoa. With stores nationwide and growing fast, we’re looking for a motivated Assistant Store Manager to help lead our team and drive store success.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll support the Store Manager to deliver strong financial results, operational excellence and an outstanding customer experience.



About the role

As Assistant Store Manager, you’ll:

Support and inspire the in-store team to deliver exceptional customer experiences
Drive sales performance and support achievement of store KPIs and budgets
Lead by example on the shop floor
Support recruitment and development of high-performing team members
Ensure store standards, visual presentation and operational processes are consistently met
Act as a calm, professional leader in a fast-paced retail environment
You’ll play a key role in creating a positive team culture while delivering commercial results.


What we’re looking for

Previous leadership experience in retail
Strong understanding of store operations and performance drivers
Proven ability to coach and motivate a team
Commercial mindset with a focus on achieving KPIs
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic retail environment
Flexibility to work across a range of shifts, including weekends
