Childcare Assistant
Qualifications:
ONLY candidates who have worked full time in a Child Care setting, will be considered for an interview.
Job Duties:
Ability to handle a busy classroom
Knowledge of the Montessori philosophy and areas of study is an asset
Knowledge of Montessori activities is an asset
Excellent written and oral communication
Assess the developmental level of children
Strong leadership skills. Responsible and independent
Creative, hard-working team player, energetic, and flexible
Develop and implement program plans and daily activities for children
Nurtures independence, self-esteem and success in students
Classroom management
Parent communication
Enthusiastic, creative, energetic and nurturing
Qualifications:
Working childcare experience (Mandatory)
Police Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening no more than 6 months old
Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification
Up to Date Immunizations
Must be comfortable changing diapers
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.31-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
