Basic Job Function:
Professionally diagnose, repair and maintain company, guest and customer vehicles including but not exclusive to automobiles, trucks and buses. Uphold and assure compliance with all company and departmental policies and procedures.
Use of Company Vehicle: Designated to drive a company vehicle
Minimum Requirements:
• Minimum two (2) years experience, prefer three (3) years experience in auto and truck repair
• In accordance with DOT regulations, must be at least 21 years of age in order to qualify for a CDL
• Must have ASE Mechanical Certification
• Must have MAC A/C Certification
• Valid Georgia Driver’s License with the requirement to obtain a minimum Class “B” CDL with passenger and Air Brake endorsement within +0 days
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• High School Diploma or equivalent credentials preferred
• Knowledge of wiring and electrical systems for automobiles
• Knowledge of adjusting or repairing brakes, radiators, heaters, radios
• Must Maintain ASE and CDL classification and A/C repair
• Must have knowledge of the following Automotive Products: Freon, Antifreeze, Oil Gasoline and Carburetor cleaners.
• Must have knowledge of the following Equipment: Hydraulic Hoist, Engine Analyzer, Test Equipment, Brake, Electrical, Carburetor and Fuel injections, engines.
• Must have knowledge of the following Processes: Installing replacement parts, Advance knowledge of automotive repair and equipment including A/C repair

• Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in compliance with company Dress Code Policy
Tasks/Responsibilities:
• Must have practical experience in using hydraulic hoists or lifts to gain access to parts of cars for repair
• Maintain sufficient hand tools to make proper repairs on vehicles
• Examines vehicle and discusses with Garage Supervisor the nature and extent of damage or malfunction
• Safety inspects vehicles to DOT, PSC, DPS Specifications
• Plans work procedure using charts, technical manuals and experience
• Repair and overhaul automobiles, buses, trucks and other automotive vehicles
• Repair or replace all parts of engines and mechanical parts of an automobile
• Repairs brakes, engines, front suspension and electrical
• Repairs tires, radiators, rear suspension and windows
• Attends updated seminars and classes (2) per year
• Learn the names and personally recognize our regular Guests and Members
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of current guest services, activities, dining options, shops, local attractions, and historical information regarding Sea Island and the surrounding area to answer any questions guests may have to the best of one’s ability
• If applicable, complete a Guest Problem Resolutions (GPR) form on any issues (solved or unsolved issues) and follow-up on issues as needed (if computer access is not available give information to admin support)
• Maintains cleanliness and organization in all work areas
• Uphold appropriate departmental standards of quality/timing
• Uphold and ensure compliance with all company and departmental policies and procedures
• Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues, known safety hazards, or unsafe practices and procedures to supervisor immediately
• Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement
• Willing and timely execution of other duties as delegated by leadership
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to kneel, crouch, squat, climb, stand, sit, balance, reach, bend, push, pull and walk for prolonged periods
• Ability to climb a ladder or lay on the ground
• Must have the ability to work for extended time periods in an outdoor environment, including sun, heat, cold, wind, rain, and higher than normal noise levels
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy
• Ability to lift, carry, pull and push up to 70 lbs intermittently throughout a shift
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
• May be exposed to mechanical, electrical, chemical and fume hazards
• Maintain compliance with Company Resort Professional Image Policy
