• Lead the design and development of automation systems, including PLC-based control systems, SCADA systems, HMIs, and robotic solutions.
• Ensure that automation solutions meet project requirements, performance criteria, and industry standards.
• Develop PLC programs, HMI interfaces, and SCADA applications to control and monitor manufacturing processes, equipment, and machinery.
• Configure and optimise control system parameters to achieve desired performance outcomes.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and software developers, to integrate automation solutions into overall plant system designs.
• Ensure seamless communication and interoperability between different components and subsystems.
• Lead the commissioning and testing of automation systems, ensuring that they meet functional requirements, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues identified during testing.
• Attend site for code modifications, commissioning assistance, as required.
