**About the Role**

As an Automation Engineer at Amazon, you will play a critical role in maintaining our logistics network's efficiency and reliability. You will be responsible for fault finding, troubleshooting, and improving control solutions for automated material handling equipment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

Partner with the RME team to provide high-level equipment availability to internal customers.
Cultivate an environment of continuous learning by coaching and training technicians in control systems fault finding.
Collaborate with the AU/EU Controls network to enhance MHE metric monitoring capabilities.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and provide visualization and data to internal customers.
**Requirements and Qualifications:**

Relevant experience with PLC-controlled automation and issue diagnosis in a continuous process or production environment.
Experience supporting various conveyors and sortation systems.
Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and improve strategies conforming to IEC 61131-3 standards.
