Morrey Auto Group is offering a position of a Full-time Automotive Apprentice Technician to join our Service Department at Morrey Nissan Infiniti of Burnaby. In this role you will provide accurate and timely repairs to client and internal vehicles without your defined scope of work, assist technicians with repairs and maintenance, advise staff and clientele on vehicle repairs, as well as maintain a high standard of quality in all shop related workmanship and maintenance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide timely and accurate technical advisement of vehicle repairs and maintenance
Perform maintenance, repairs, and inspections to client and internal vehicles in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner according to standardized and manufacturer guidelines
Perform scope of work defined by your level of apprenticeship
Inspect client and internal vehicles for both safety and operation and advising of necessary repairs
Assist technicians with their tasks and repairs
Maintain a high level of cleanliness and proficiency in work carried out throughout the shop, as well as the cleanliness and maintenance of shop and shop tools
Translating customers’ repair problems into standard repair terminology while educating customers on maintenance and repair needs
Qualifications and Experience
Currently enrolled in an automotive program
Nissan / Infiniti experience an asset
Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills
Ability to translate standard repair and maintenance terminology to advise customers
Possess standardized set of automotive repair tools
Self sufficient and can work both in a team and independently
