Full job description
The Paint Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all parts are sprayed to a consistently high quality in a fast-paced body shop atmosphere. Responsibilities will include the identification and discarding of defective products, performing all work in a safe manner, cleaning and maintaining painting and coating, ventilation, compressed air and personal protective equipment. The Paint Technician will collaborate effectively with the body department to achieve efficient vehicle flow while ensuring quality standards are met to reduce and eliminate re-work.

Key Responsibilities:

Restore vehicle paint to original condition as per manufacturer’s specifications.
Select appropriate paint or mix paints using automated paint mixing equipment according to a pre-determined formula.
Tend to or operate equipment to clean, wash, strip, sand, remove corrosion, fill dents or otherwise prepare items for application of topcoat or other protective or decorative coatings
Operate compliant hand-held spray guns to spray paint or coat large items with protective or decorative coatings.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion.
Qualifications:

Red seal Certification (required)
I-CAR Platinum is an asset
Vald Driver's License (prefer)
