Automotive Mechanic

MAIN DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Receiving clients in the Service Workshop
· Inspection on damaged vehicles to estimate repair labor cost and required parts expense
· Check for leaks, suspension, or other issues of concern
· Change and top off fluids
· Diagnose and repair electromechanical malfunctions and air conditioning systems
· Preparing repair orders
· Repair and replace damaged parts
· Unit preparation, quality control and checking of accessories
· Assistance in the mechanical/electronic operation of the unit to be delivered.
· Manage the logistics of the unit entry
· Delivering units and conducting advisory interviews
SKILLS & EXPEREINCE:
Qualifications: Must have related qualifications in automotive
Experience: At least two years’ experience as an automotive mechanic
Skills: Strong maintenance and repair skills according to manufacture specification.
The ability to follow correct procedures when carrying out repair work.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A current Australian Driver’s License.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $62,000.00 – $+7,000.00 per year
Schedule:
10 hour shift
8 hour shift
Experience:
Mechanic: 2 years (Preferred)
