Full job description
Duties:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and brake system failures
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any potential issues or safety concerns
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle problems
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed for repairs or replacements
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance recommendations to customers in a clear and understandable manner
Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of automotive systems
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and repair instructions
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex automotive issues
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers and explain repairs
