Position: Automotive Service Technician/Mechanic $70,000 to $175,000 Per Year
Job Description
We are looking for technicians / mechanics for 2 locations (Landmark of Morrow and Landmark of Chamblee) who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for must seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what’s right for our customers. We are among, if not the highest rates in the Atlanta Area.
Diesel and transmission experience is a definite plus.
Responsibilities
• Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our customers.
• Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
• Complete full, accurate, and honest multipoint vehicle inspections.
• Work as part of a team to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively.
• Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
• Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate customer concerns.
• Work together with other Technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results.
Qualifications
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies.
• Inspect and test-drive vehicles to ensure vehicles run smoothly & safely.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Communicate directly with Service Advisors and all necessary parties to ensure that customers receive exceptional customer service.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems and components.
• Ensure quality customer service through professionalism and timely responses.
• Complete required factory and dealership training.
• Install equipment as specified by the customer or the company.
• Assist and mentor junior technicians when needed.
• Use shop supplies and materials in a practical and economical manner.
• Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its personnel, or customers.
• Maintain professional and clean workspace.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
• Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds.
• Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head.
• Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair.
• Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools.
• Walk/stand for the majority of their workday.
• Drive manual transmission vehicles.
• Efficiently navigate a computer and tablet/iPad.#J-18808-Ljbffr
