Summary:
You will lead and direct the work of the Payments Risk Forum, a function designed to provide the payments industry, the regulatory/law enforcement community, and the Federal Reserve System with a forum for balanced, in-depth research and analysis of emerging issues affecting payments risk and fraud mitigation. Set overall direction for the Forum's efforts, maintaining relationships outside and inside the Federal Reserve System, monitoring topical developments, ensuring effective execution of Forum goals, and generating independent work product on issues of topical relevance to the purposes and mission of the Forum. You will report to the SVP, Chief Risk & Compliance Officer.
Responsibilities:
Lead and direct the work of the Payments Risk Forum to provide the payments industry, the regulatory/law enforcement community, and the Federal Reserve System with a forum for balanced, in-depth research and analysis of emerging issues affecting payments risk and fraud mitigation. Develop essential alliances with senior level counterparts in Federal Reserve Financial Services, System Supervision and Regulation experts, System Payments research groups, the Board of Governors, and industry payments system organizations and leaders. Represent the Forum on industry, regulatory/law enforcement, Bank and System Groups. Provide strategic direction to payments system research efforts and the subsequent publication of papers, articles, blog posts, data analysis, and other thought pieces on trends and issues in payments risk and emerging payment issues. Be the point person concerning media inquiries and interactions related to publications. Build relationships that promote trust and encourage others to engage with the Forum to debate issues and develop work products. Direct the organization of conferences, seminars, forums, and meetings to discuss and address issues related to payments risk and fraud. Speak at industry conferences on the work of the Forum and payments issues. Develop, market, and ensure the ongoing provision of web-based vehicles for collaborative discussion and distribution of Forum output. Ensure attraction and development of staff to support Forum goals, including hiring, staff development counseling, performance appraisal and management, compensation decisions, and other personnel actions.

Experience:
8 or more years of Payments industry experience Highly Specialized or Technical Skills/Certifications Knowledge of the payments industry, essential players, and emerging issues. Write and speak influentially to public and industry groups. Key Competencies:

$150K -- $200K
