Compensation: $70-$80 / hourly
Location: Kansas City, MO
Position: Azure Data Architect
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Azure Data Architect to join their team! This is a rare opportunity to be at the forefront of a major transformation for a large insurance firm. The company is modernizing their software infrastructure, transitioning from outdated legacy systems to a new, cutting-edge environment powered by Azure. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in the planning and design phases, collaborating with a team of engineers and architects to shape and execute the future of this enterprise-level system. While the role is primarily remote, candidates must be based in Kansas City to participate in in-person collaboration sessions once or twice per week.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the planning, strategy, and design for a migration to an Azure-based architecture
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define objectives, and build a roadmap for the transformation
• Guide the team through the transition from legacy software to an Azure environment
Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Proven experience as an Azure Data Architect, with expertise in Azure cloud technologies
• Strong background in designing and implementing enterprise-level data architectures
• Experience leading the migration of legacy systems to modern cloud environments
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
• Previous experience in the insurance or financial services industry
• Familiarity with large system builds and complex data migrations
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance regulations
