Who are we looking for?
We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) to join our team in Rockhampton, QLD. If you’re a proactive, flexible and experienced professional with a drive to succeed, you’re the type of person we would like to welcome onboard.
The Essential Requirements
Current CAS/EASAA Part 66 B1 licence
Type ratings for Fokker 70/100 and Embraer E1+0 aircraft (desired)
Willingness to attend a type course if required
Ability to perform shift work
Previous experience in a line maintenance environment
Comprehensive understanding of CASA regulations
Ability to obtain and hold a valid ASIC
Sound written and oral communication
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
High attention to detail and accuracy of work
Proficient computer skills & sound time management skills
Commitment to safety & JUST culture
Pass background checks or medical screenings as required by us, Drug and ******* testing and police check clearance will be part of the recruitment process
Driver’s licence
Ability to hold and maintain a valid ASIC card
Shifts 5 days per week (great hours).
