We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Back Office Executive to join our Accounts Department. The candidate will play a crucial role in managing billing, challan preparation, accounts receivable, payment collections, banking, and other back-office tasks. You will have the opportunity to work directly with the owner, gaining hands-on experience and training in the accounts department for career development.
Key Responsibilities:
· Billing & Invoicing: Prepare and manage bills for customers ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
· Challan Preparation: Generate challans for goods dispatched from the showroom or warehouse.
· Accounts Receivable: Track and ensure timely collections of payments from clients and customers.
· Payment Follow-up: Regularly communicate with clients to follow up on outstanding payments.
· Banking: Manage banking tasks such as deposits, reconciliations, and ensuring transactions are accurately recorded.
· Data Entry & Record Maintenance: Keep financial records updated with accuracy and ensure all files are properly documented.
· Vendor Coordination: Liaise with suppliers for payment confirmation and resolve any billing or payment discrepancies.
· Support the Owner: Assist the owner with various tasks as required, ensuring smooth functioning of back-office operations.
· Learning & Development: Work closely with the accounts department, gaining exposure to accounting practices and tools with an opportunity to learn and develop in the field.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Minimum qualification of a bachelor’s degree in commerce, accounting, or a related field.
· 6 months – 2 years of experience in back-office, billing, or accounting roles (preferably in the building materials industry, but not mandatory).
· Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software such as Tally or QuickBooks is an advantage.
· Accuracy in handling financial data and invoices.
· Strong verbal and written communication for handling customer queries and payment follow-ups.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and maintain smooth operations.
· Willingness to take on new challenges and learn on the job, with career growth in the accounting field.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
