Job Description
Senior Backup Administrator is responsible for ensuring the security and accessibility of an organization’s data by managing and implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions.
This role involves working closely with IT teams to design, monitor, and optimize backup systems and processes.
Backup Management: Configure and manage backup and recovery systems and processes.
Monitoring: Perform regular backups of critical data and test to verify recovery capabilities.
Troubleshooting: Monitor backup systems and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of backup and recovery procedures and policies.
Disaster Recovery: Develop and execute disaster recovery plans.
Collaboration: Work with IT teams and stakeholders to establish data retention and archival policies.
Implementation: Assist in the selection and implementation of new backup and recovery solutions.
Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices
