We are seeking an experienced Operations Assistant Manager Bakery to join our centrally located Bakehouse team.

About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Assistant Manager to join our Bakehouse team. This role offers a unique opportunity to enhance production efficiency while maintaining our high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Promote Company Values: Uphold our shared values and team culture of continuous improvement and lean thinking.
Optimize Operations: Introduce and streamline operational processes to boost efficiency.
Team Support: Provide effective coaching and support to the production team.
Assist Management: Support the Bakehouse Manager in meeting targets, schedules, and implementing continuous improvements.
Maintain Standards: Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance (QA), Workplace Health and Safety (WHS), and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) standards.
Skills And Experience Required
Experience with LEAN manufacturing or similar systems.
Proven skills in team engagement and process improvement.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Understanding of financial outcomes to drive profitability.
Hands-on approach with a passion for coaching and development.
Experience in manufacturing or a similar field; familiarity with baking or hospitality is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft office and excel
Valid Australian driver’s licence and reliable transport.
