Recipe Development:

Develop and create new recipes for a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts.

Experiment with flavors, textures, and techniques to bring innovative and appealing products to the bakery menu.

Production Management:

Oversee the daily production of baked goods, coordinating with the baking team to ensure consistency and efficiency.

Manage inventory of baking ingredients and supplies, ensuring proper stock levels and freshness.

Quality Assurance:

Maintain high-quality standards for all baked products, consistently delivering items that meet or exceed customer expectations.

Conduct regular tastings and quality checks to monitor and improve the overall quality of baked goods.

Menu Planning:

Collaborate with the management team to plan and update the bakery menu, considering seasonal ingredients, customer preferences, and market trends.

Ensure a diverse and attractive selection of baked goods that appeals to a wide range of customers.

Team Leadership:

Provide guidance and leadership to the baking team, including training new staff and fostering a positive working environment.

Schedule and organize staff shifts to meet production demands.

Hygiene and Safety:

Adhere to and enforce strict hygiene and safety standards in the bakery, including proper food handling and storage procedures.

Monitor and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area, equipment, and utensils.

Customer Interaction:

Interact with customers, addressing inquiries about baked goods and providing recommendations.

Gather feedback and use it to continuously improve products and service.

Cost Control:

Work closely with the management team to manage costs related to ingredients, labor, and other expenses.

Implement cost-effective practices without compromising quality.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Bakery Chef or similar role.

Culinary degree or relevant certification.

Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.

Creativity and ability to develop unique and appealing recipes.

Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
