Bancs Software Engineer III

As a Software Engineer III in Securities Services Technology within Corporate & Investment Banking, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.

Job responsibilities

Manage Bancs runtime UAT and production environments and technical troubleshooting
Understand Bancs release notes and interpret for JPMC business
Manage Bancs SDLC and deployments for upgrades and hot fixes
Applies technical troubleshooting to break down solutions and solve technical problems of basic complexity
Gathers, analyzes, and draws conclusions from large, diverse data sets to identify problems and contribute to decision-making in service of secure, stable application development
Learns and applies system processes, methodologies, and skills for the development of secure, stable code and systems
Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability for application development
Hands-on experience with L3 support and testing
Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with Java, Spring, React, Oracle technologies
Experience across the whole Software Development Life Cycle
Exposure to agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Familiarity with equity settlements and asset servicing business functions
Prior Bancs experience is preferred
