Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should demonstrate:
A passion for working with children with special educational needs
The ability to work with resilience, patience, empathy, and creativity
Experience supporting children (ideal but not essential)
A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred, though not essential
Knowledge of SEN will be an advantage, and the ability to respond to the emotional, social, and mental health needs of our students is key. You may also be required to provide personal care where necessary to ensure that each child has the support they need to succeed.
