Barista And Cashier

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items while providing exceptional customer service. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers and ensuring that their experience is enjoyable.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when needed.
Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.
Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
Engage with customers in a friendly manner, addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have.
Skills

Strong knowledge of food safety practices to ensure the health and well-being of customers.
Experience in food preparation is an advantage but not essential.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating change accurately.
A passion for coffee and customer service, with the ability to create a positive experience for every customer.

Pay: £11.44-£15.35 per hour
