Bartender/Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional experience. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining the bar area, and providing excellent service to our patrons.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including cleaning surfaces.
Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations.
Process transactions accurately using the POS system, handling cash and card payments efficiently.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices.
Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware; report any shortages to management.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure prompt service for all guests.
Requirements

Previous bartending experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately.
Familiarity with POS systems for processing orders and payments.
Knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Must be at least 18 years of age as per local regulations regarding alcohol service.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.80 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 12 per week
