We have an exciting opportunity for a Billing Specialist to join our team in Manchester on a Hybrid basis. Within this role you will be responsible for providing Billing support and analysis for the Firm across all practice areas, Personal Injury and Consumer Law duties including raising of bills and bill credit notes Responsibilities: Ensure raised invoices are checked diligently to the enclosed paperwork and errors recorded and communicated to the relevant business area for rectification.Create Invoices in line with the Billing Team procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance is maintained to produce optimum output and minimum error rates.Consider all new requested information in line with agreed Service Standards/ISO Procedures and SAR requirementsMonitor and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactionsSupport with the management of the Service Desk inbox ensuring timely and accurate responses are delivered to stakeholdersMaintenance of residual balances in line with SRA rulesEnsure business cash is maximized accordinglyBuild effective relationships both internally within the Finance team and externally with the team's wider stakeholdersAssisting wider finance transactional team as and when required
About You: Experience in Accounts Receivable processes, ideally within a Billing functionExcellent excel skillsAbility to manage own workload in line with achieving both personal and team objectivesAbility to work under pressure in a fast paced environmentAdhering to deadlines and escalating issues to management accordingly
