Bowling Lane Mechanic/ Technician

Responsible for maintaining and servicing the equipment in bowling alley. Their duties include:

Pinsetters: They ensure that pinsetters are properly maintained and in good working order. This involves troubleshooting and repairing any faults or malfunctions related to pinsetters.
Scoreboards: Bowling alley mechanics also take care of scoreboards, ensuring they function correctly and display accurate scores during games.
Lane Machines: They maintain and service lane machines, which are essential for oiling and conditioning the lanes to provide consistent play conditions.
Education and Training:
A high school diploma or equivalent is usually required.
Mechanical Skills:
Strong mechanical aptitude is essential. Mechanics should be comfortable working with machinery, tools, and equipment.
Knowledge of electrical systems and basic electronics is beneficial.
Experience:
Practical experience in bowling alley maintenance is valuable. This can be gained through on-the-job training or apprenticeships.
