As a Branch Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of a specific branch of an organization. Your primary objective will be to ensure the smooth functioning of the branch, achieve business targets, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. You will lead a team of employees, provide guidance and support, and collaborate with various stakeholders to drive growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Transaction Management: Handle and record financial transactions related to sales, purchases, inventory, expenses, and other financial activities of the branch in an accurate and timely manner.
Point of Sale (POS) System Management: Maintain and reconcile the branch's POS system, ensuring proper recording of sales, returns, discounts, and promotions.
Daily Cash Management: Oversee the branch's daily cash management activities, including cash handling, reconciliations, and deposits. Ensure compliance with company cash handling policies.
Inventory Management: Collaborate with the store and warehouse teams to reconcile physical inventory with financial records. Assist in conducting periodic stock takes and investigating any discrepancies.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including verifying invoices, processing payments, and reconciling customer and vendor accounts.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate and timely financial reports, such as daily sales reports, monthly financial statements, and management reports, to the branch manager and central finance team.
Banking and Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial statements, ensuring accuracy and resolving any discrepancies.
Expense Control: Monitor and control branch expenses, ensuring adherence to budget guidelines. Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend improvements to reduce expenses.
Compliance and Audit Support: Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and legal requirements. Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and provide insights on sales trends, profitability, and expense patterns to support the branch manager in making informed business decisions.
Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within the branch's financial operations and implement streamlined procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as sales, operations, and procurement to gather financial information, provide support, and contribute to the overall success of the branch.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance within an electronic retail chain or similar industry.
Solid understanding of accounting principles, retail operations, and financial processes specific to the electronic retail industry.
Proficiency in using accounting software and point of sale (POS) systems.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
Detail-oriented with excellent accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and reconciliations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance in the retail industry.

Salary: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
