We are looking for a branch technician to join our team in Christchurch.

Are you hands-on, customer-focused, and ready to be part of a dynamic team?

We’re looking for a Branch Service Technician to support our branch operations and mobile service vehicles, ensuring top-tier service delivery and operational excellence.

About the Role

You’ll play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our Service Centre. Your responsibilities will include:

Handle customers, incoming calls, process orders, and provide product updates.
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and professionalism.
Assist Mobile Technicians with placing and collecting orders.
Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders using RF scanners.
Conduct stock takes and ensure inventory accuracy.
Manufacture hose kits and water blaster hoses for walk-in customers.
Work safely and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Ultimately, you also get an opportunity to become a mobile sales & service technician if that is a path you wish to follow. 

About the Person

Understanding of hydraulics would be a definite plus.
Someone who is genuinely able to pick up new processes quickly.
A people person who is comfortable talking to customers and is a good team player.
Flexibility for work hours, there is Saturday morning work on a roster basis.
A good mechanical aptitude would be beneficial.
A willingness and flexibility to take on tasks and responsibilities "outside the square".
Good physical fitness (some heavy lifting is involved).
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
