We are looking for a Building Automation / Management System professional at Arayna Tech. The role involves day-to-day tasks related to Building Automation System Implementation. The candidate will be responsible delivering a complete BAS/BMS, managing experts delivering components such as drawings, programming, graphics, commissioning, documentation etc.
• Designs and configures complex building control systems. Creates flow diagrams, sequence of operations, network layouts and electrical schematics as required.
• Develops and tests software programs necessary to operate the system per the intent of the project requirements.
• Coordinates and creates of necessary drawings and equipment schedules for submittals and installation.
• Assists in the loading and commissioning of all system and network-level controllers as required. Assists in validation of complete system functionality and troubleshoots problems with subcontractors and other trades to ensure proper operation.
• Provides field change information to the project team for the creation of as-built drawings and software.
• Keeps management and customer informed of job progress and issues.
• Assists in performing site-specific training for owner / operator on the total building control system.
• Participates in release meeting with project field team. Performs value engineering to provide cost effective results while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Provide work direction to Systems Design Assistants.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in Tridium Niagra Framework and Control Systems
• Experience in system design, deployment, and integration
• Knowledge of Smart Buildings and IoT applications
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Relevant certifications in BAS Programming / Development
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or related field
• Requires occasional travel to customer locations. 20-40% of travel anticipated for this role
Preferred Qualifications:
• Mission critical or data center experience
• Located in Washington DC or DFW area
• SCADA experience
• Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
