Looking to relocate to Australia? We are recruiting experienced UK Bus Mechanics and HGV Mechanics to join a dedicated bus workshop in Perth, Western Australia.

Our client is a leading heavy vehicle dealership and service provider, working across major brands including Volvo, UD, and Mack. Operating multiple sites across Western Australia, the business offers access to modern workshop facilities, advanced diagnostic systems, and strong long-term career development opportunities.

The Role – Bus Workshop

Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain buses
Carry out mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs
Assist with inspections, servicing, and commissioning of new vehicles
Use diagnostic tools and systems to identify and resolve faults
Ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards
Maintain accurate job records using workshop systems
Support general workshop operations as required
Monday to Friday roster (early start, early finish)
Work within a dealership environment with access to full diagnostic systems, specialist tooling, and product experts
Ongoing manufacturer training as technology continues to evolve
What We Are Looking For

NVQ Level 3 in Bus and Coach Engineering, PSV, or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent trade qualification)
Strong background in bus or heavy vehicle maintenance
Good diagnostics and fault-finding capability
Full UK Driver Licence
Experience with diesel engines, transmissions, and braking systems
Cummins or Allison experience is an advantage
Electric or hybrid vehicle experience beneficial (training provided)
Willingness to relocate to Australia
What Is On Offer

Competitive hourly rate of $46–$50 AUD per hour (flat rate) (approximately £24–£26 per hour, depending on exchange rate)
