Main Duties and Responsibilities:
As an Associate in Global Funds Services, you will :
Execution and implementation activities onto the Fund Accounting applications.
Facilitation of any maintenance requests on existing Fund accounting systems
Define the Target operating model with Sub-custodian and identify the future state for accounting business.
Perform required Gap analysis and Impact analysis before grooming and estimating the process level and system level requirements.
Draft To-Be process and conduct workshops with Operations, product development, Product to finalize the target state.
Experience to draft Business Requirement Document for system change and raise JIRA.
Liaise with technology partners to elucidate the requirements and facilitate effort estimation.
Drive solutions through by leveraging the Digital tools (Alteryx, Xceptor) for automation
Perform rigorous testing on proposed system change and drive implementation in production.
Responsible to draft and drive Op’s readiness required for client on-boarding to the new system.
Prepare standard operating procedures on process change.
Conduct end users training for seamless migration.
Ideate and Implement efficiency and/ or controls improvement initiatives
Lead / Encourage and Participate in various LOB & Organization level initiatives.
Qualifications
Fund Accounting operations knowledge. Should have an understanding of the different inputs and variables the impact the NAV calculation.
Invest One Knowledge.
Strong analytical skills
Proven ability to work with challenging deadlines, manage daily workload and priorities key events.
Ability to interpret complex manual process and perform analysis to provide appropriate system design inputs.
Meticulous attention to detail
Ability to work in a deadline driven environment
Proficient use of MS office
Flexibility to work on holidays / extended working hours on high volume days, if required
The ideal candidate would have a 'can do' attitude
Good written & spoken English communication skills
Ability to influence and engage key stakeholders
Ability to lead team and work across regions
