Job Title: Business Development & Events Coordinator
Location: London
Salary: Market Rate (estimated £50,000 - £65,000 per annum)
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Business Development & Events Coordinator to join our team in London. The successful candidate will work closely with key stakeholders to support the growth of our events program, hosting client seminars, webinars, and other in-house activities.
The Key Responsibilities:
• Event Delivery: Collaborate with the wider business development team to manage the delivery of high-quality in-person events, ensuring seamless execution and excellent stakeholder engagement.
• Virtual Event Management: Project manage the delivery of virtual and hybrid events across the firm, working closely with internal and external speakers.
• Pre-Event Testing: Run pre-event tests with speakers using the virtual platform and provide relevant technical support.
• Research and Budgeting: Conduct research and advise on costs for review for corporate hospitality, and draft event budgets for approval from partners.
• Best Practices: Develop and maintain a best practice events checklist, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Training and Coaching: Provide training and coaching to support staff responsible for administrative aspects of events.
• Post-Event Evaluation: Gather post-event feedback and debrief after each event to measure success and implement improvements.
The Ideal Candidate:
• Event Production Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in event production, vendor negotiation, and related logistics.
• Project Management: Possess strong planning and organizational ability to manage concurrent projects and deliver results under pressure.
• Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent writing and communication skills, able to effectively manage expectations of senior stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Be able to work collaboratively with internal teams such as facilities, IT, and finance.
