Tasks and responsibilities associated with this role:

Identifying new business opportunities: Researching and identifying potential clients, markets, and partnerships to expand the company's business reach.
Lead generation and prospecting: Generating leads through various channels, such as cold calling, networking, referrals, online research, and attending industry events.
Client relationship management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Developing business proposals: Creating persuasive proposals, presentations, and pitches to win new business opportunities and partnerships.
Market research and analysis: Conducting market research to identify trends, competitors, and customer needs. Analyzing data and insights to develop effective strategies.
Sales and revenue generation: Meeting or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals. Actively pursuing new sales opportunities and negotiating contracts.
Collaborating with internal teams: Working closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align business strategies and ensure seamless execution of projects.
Strategic planning: Contributing to the development and implementation of business development strategies, including market expansion plans, product/service positioning, and pricing strategies.
Networking and relationship building: Building a strong professional network by attending industry events, conferences, and trade shows. Leveraging contacts to create business opportunities.
Monitoring industry trends: Staying up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies. Identifying potential risks and opportunities for the company.
Reporting and analysis: Tracking and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development activities. Providing regular updates and analysis to the management team.
Continuous learning and improvement: Keeping abreast of industry best practices and enhancing knowledge and skills related to business development techniques and strategies.
