Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate should have the ability to help the organization to grow by identifying and developing new business opportunities. We also look for individuals with integrity, a hunger for learning, an action-bias, ownership, and humility. Prior experience working with SaaS or technology is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research and Strategy Development: Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and understand current market trends. Developing and implementing growth strategies in line with the company’s objectives.
- Client Acquisition and Relationship Management: Actively seeking out new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and potential clients.
- Sales and Negotiation: Pitching products and/or services to potential clients. Negotiating with stakeholders and closing business deals.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Working closely with the marketing team to develop custom sales and marketing strategies. Collaborating with other departments to ensure the company's growth objectives are met.
- Performance Analysis and Reporting: Monitoring performance against targets and reporting to senior management. Analysing sales and marketing trends to make data-driven decisions.
- Brand Representation: Representing the company at trade exhibitions, events, and demonstrations.
- Product and Service Knowledge: Maintaining thorough knowledge of the company’s products or services and staying up-to-date with industry changes.
Requirements:
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Proven track record of driving customer satisfaction and retention.
- Familiarity with SaaS/metrics such as LTV, churn rate, etc. (Nice to have)
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS (Nice to have)
- Good business sense and industry expertise
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- Ability to work with tech tools such as Excel, Word, etc.
- Ability to work in shifts, including nights and weekends, and adjust work schedules according to customer needs.
- Top-notch attention to detail.
Experience & Education:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in business development or a similar role.
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering.

Work Hours:
- This role involves working night shifts and weekends. We are looking for people comfortable working with US/European/ANZ clients during their working hours
