Job Summary:
Acrannolife Genomics, a fast-growing biotechnology company focused on developing innovative solutions for genetic testing and analysis, is seeking a Business Development Executive to join our team in Chennai. Acrannolife Genomics is looking for dynamic & energetic marketing professionals with experience in Pharma /Diagnostics Marketing & preferably having experience with super-specialty doctors across major cities.
As a Sales Manager / Representative in the medical industry, you will be responsible for driving sales and building strong relationships with doctors and hospitals in South India, particularly in the Chennai region.
Your primary focus will be to promote and sell our range of medical tests. We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in selling to healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
Will be responsible for marketing & sales of our advanced and specialized genomics diagnostics products & services.
Will be responsible for building new clienteles for targeted business growth with super-specialty doctors in respective major hospitals, and through empanelment in the hospitals, and Govt institutions.
Building clientele relationship with new and existing clients, including Govt.
To provide prompt service with existing clients/doctors for business growth.
Must have experience & be able to organize CMEs to create awareness.
Able to accomplish new Tie-ups with various hospitals/ Doctor clinics & Govt. bodies.
Should have excellent Team-Handling experience and working on a team.
Research and identify potential new business opportunities for genomics diagnostics products & services
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company's genomics diagnostics products & services
Maintain a high level of knowledge about industry trends and competitors in the life sciences industry
Generate new business leads through research, prospecting, and networking in the life sciences industry
Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients through telephone, email, and in-person communication
Negotiate and close new business deals for genetic testing and analysis solutions
Write and present proposals to clients outlining product/service benefits and cost savings for genomics diagnostics products & services
Attend industry conferences and networking events to promote the company's genomics diagnostics products & services.
Monitor and report on sales activities, market trends, and competitor activities in the life sciences industry.
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives within the assigned territory.
Identify and engage with potential customers, including doctors, hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities, to generate new business opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to foster long-term partnerships.
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to healthcare professionals, highlighting the features, benefits, and value proposition of our medical products.
Provide accurate and timely information to clients regarding product availability, pricing, delivery schedules, and technical specifications.
Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and customer support, to ensure seamless customer experience and satisfaction.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory requirements to effectively position our products in the market.
Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to the sales management team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business Administration) is preferred.
Minimum 4 to 5 years of successful sales experience in the medical industry, specifically selling tests, medicines, or medical devices to doctors and hospitals in South India.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including knowledge of medical products, treatments, and market dynamics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence healthcare professionals.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the medical field.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Familiarity with Chennai and the surrounding areas is a plus.
Age between 27 to 35 years
