Job Overview
As a Territory Business Leader (TBL), your primary role will be to partner with a Clinical Diabetes Specialist (CDS) to successfully introduce a revolutionary insulin pump and subsequent products. Your engagement will primarily involve healthcare professionals including physicians, advanced practitioners, certified diabetes care and education specialists, and significant diabetes-focused institutions. You will be entrusted with promoting the integration of our products and services within your designated territory, devising strategic initiatives in collaboration with the CDS to achieve and surpass your territory objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Formulate and execute effective strategies in partnership with the CDS to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Cultivate strong relationships with healthcare providers to advocate for the prescription of our diabetes management solutions.
• Propel the adoption and growth of our offerings by ensuring a positive experience for both providers and users.
• Demonstrate your expertise in discussing and showcasing our products while maintaining a comprehensive understanding of diabetes care options.
• Collaborate with customer support and sales teams to enhance user experience and satisfaction.
• Relay feedback from healthcare providers across relevant departments to address concerns and drive product enhancements.
• Represent our organization at industry conventions and educational forums to bolster awareness of our solutions.
• Manage leads and opportunities within the customer relations database and submit necessary training documentation.
• Maintain active involvement with local patient advocacy groups and professional diabetes organizations.
Qualifications
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of sales experience with a demonstrated history of success.
• A valid driver's license is required.
For Senior TBL Role
• 4+ years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sectors, showcasing a strong sales track record.
• Prior experience in diabetes care and sales of automated insulin devices is desirable.
Required Skills
• Strategic thinker capable of problem-solving.
• Established relationships with endocrinologists are preferred; experience promoting diabetes devices and knowledge of diabetes therapeutics is advantageous.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
• Aptitude for thriving in a dynamic environment while promoting team collaboration.
• Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving.
• Competent in executing sales and marketing strategies while managing a territory budget.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory, including possible overnight trips.
• Capable of carrying and transporting professional samples and literature.
Additional Responsibilities For Senior TBL
• Facilitate training for field sales personnel.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members.
• Engage in internal advisory boards with cross-functional teams.
• Lead regular team calls and regional meetings as needed.
Compensation And Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation structure with a total base salary and target incentive compensation ranging from \(185,000 to \)215,000 annually, contingent upon goal achievement. Furthermore, our comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off, a car allowance, gas reimbursement, and significant professional development opportunities.
Work Environment
Our organization is committed to environmental sustainability and maintaining safety in all practices. This role necessitates regular use of computer and telephone equipment, with the potential for extended hours during peak business periods and occasional weekend work. Frequent travel within the designated territory is anticipated.
